Crown Lifting

Crown lifting also known as crown raising is the technique used by arborists to selectively remove the lower branches of a tree to raise the height of the trees crown therefore creating more space and clearance underneath.

• One of the main purposes of crown raising is to provide clearance for structures beneath the tree and sufficient clearance for pedestrians and vehicles. Removing the lower branches will make roads and walkways safer and more accessible.
